Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026. Short version: we keep it minimal.
What stays on your device
Your course progress, quiz answers, journal entries, worksheet answers and saved reflections are stored in your own browser’s local storage. They are not uploaded to us, and clearing your browser data deletes them permanently.
If you tick the consent box and submit the sign-up form, your email address is sent to our email provider so we can send you guides and updates. We never add anyone automatically, we don’t sell addresses, and every email contains an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to delete your address by writing to contact@therusticcompass.com.
Analytics and hosting
Our host records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, in order to serve and secure the site.
Affiliate links and cookies
Some outbound links are affiliate links. The merchant may set a cookie to record that you arrived from The Rustic Compass. See the affiliate disclosure.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
